Police departments and first responders across North America do an amazing job, but for many children in vulnerable situations, the appearance of police can be unsettling and even scary. This is the story of how one Louisiana-based organization and its mascot are changing perceptions. 

Captain Comfort, the official mascot for Black Hills Inc. Home Services, had a makeover this week to help support and gain recognition for a worthy cause - Breast Cancer Awareness.  

Moving away from his usual white and green costume, Captain Comfort sported a new pink look as he attended the South Sounds Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Washington.

Want to know one thing the most successful games have in common? They all use mascot marketing as part of their marketing strategy. 

Community spirit is an amazing thing - it brings people together, it gets both children and adults outside taking part in activities, and it encourages residents to come together to create a better environment for those in the local area.

That’s why one Florida-based government office has introduced its new custom mascot to not only boost community spirit within the local area, but also advance their marketing efforts in order to reach a wider audience. 

Benny and Penny are the two official mascots of CenterState Bank in Florida, and they have been created to showcase the company’s strong belief in community spirit as well as help promote that local ownership and local management translates into a better bank.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Games (NL Games) is the largest multi-sport event for youth aged 11 to 18 years old, and involves participants from all regions of the province. BAM Mascots is delighted to have been selected to help bring, Blaze, the event’s official mascot, to life.

Hosted in Deer Lake earlier this year, the NL Games is a weeklong multi-sport competition that is held every two years by communities within Newfoundland and Labrador - alternating between Winter Games and Summer Games.
