School spirit is important to have in an educational community. It demonstrates to students and staff the importance of team work, it creates a social community and brings the entire school community together as a whole. What better way to build up school spirit than with a school mascot?

2016 has been a very busy and successful year for BAM Mascots. We have had a whole lot of fun working with all of our different customers and creating the most unique and exciting mascots.

You’ve been thinking about it for a while, how beneficial a mascot would be to your organization. A mascot is a great marketing tool and can really help your brand stand out when compared to competitors. One of the next steps is to think about what type of mascot you'd like.

Your mascot is the star of the show. Whether it be at a sporting event, trade show or community event, eyes are always on your mascot. BAM Mascots custom costumes are created for professional use, known for quality construction and durable components, but just like other special clothing such as parade uniforms, the costume will need periodic cleaning and small repairs over the years.

In 2015, a new NBL (National Basketball League of Canada) team was launched in the Niagara Region. The team calls the Meridian Centre home, located in the heart of downtown St. Catherines. To come up with a team name, an online public contest was held. The name “River Lions” came from the Niagara Region's coat of arms, where the crest features a mythical beast, a River Lion. This creature symbolizes pride and strength within the community, which this team definitely lives up to. Naturally, the Niagara River Lions team wanted a fun, active mascot to engage fans at games and events.

When you think of a global brand you might picture a logo or remember a slogan or song. You've probably readily identified a company within a few seconds of hearing a commercial theme music playing because of repetition in their advertising.

A core idea of branding is to make a company memorable and while music and imagery is used successfully by many big brands, some of the biggest consumer brands use a mascot to deliver an enhanced personal experience.
