If you represent a business, organization, or school, you’re likely already using Facebook to stay connected with your audience and fans, and promote events and products. Skipper is [Star Line Mackinac Island Ferry's](https://www.mackinacferry.com/) mascot. Star Line has done a fantastic job with their Facebook page. They post pictures of him as an animated character in different scenarios, a plush version of him constantly getting into light-hearted trouble, as well as the full custom mascot version (created by Bam) taking part in various events and interacting with guests and fans.   It only takes a few minutes of looking through Skipper's page to see how well fans engage and respond to various posts. So how can you create a similar page and Facebook marketing campaign for your own mascot? Choose the type of page you’d like. Skipper’s page has been created as a “fictional character” which you can select under the “Artist, Band, or Public Figure” tab. 2. **Fill it Out.**Make sure to write your mascot’s bio, and take a nice profile picture! Add links back to your main website or Facebook page. 3. **Post & Promote! **Take a lot of photos of your mascot in different fun situations (click here to read our blog post on taking great photos of your mascot!), write fun captions, and ask questions to engage your fans.
