Chinthe Mascot Debuts in Asia

We have requests for custom mascots coming to us from all around the world. Many are quite unique, such as Chinthe, a mythical creature requested by a school in Myanmar.

Towards the end of 2016, BAM Mascots had the pleasure of working with The International School Yangon, located in Yangon, Myanmar, in Southeast Asia. The school teaches an American curriculum, and promotes responsibility and respect through their nurturing learning environment. There are two separate schools associated with The International School Yangon, an elementary school, which began in 1955, and the high school which was founded in 1976.

One of rock 'n' roll's musical icons, Sammy Hagar, also known as the “Red Rocker”, has definitely made a name for himself over the years. From spending almost forty years in the music business, many of those years being the front man for the infamous Van Halen, to owning his own restaurant chains and continuously increasing his philanthropic donations, Sammy Hagar doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

 

One of his ventures, "Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill", headlines his passion for food and cooking. Sammy Hagar started out with "Cabo Wabo Cantina" in Cabo San Lucas. This was followed by "Cabo Wabo Tequila", and then "Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum" in Maui, Hawaii - his first beach bar location. Expansion continued to busy airport terminals. There are now four "Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill" locations, including one in the Kahului Airport in Maui, Hawaii, JFK Airport in New York, McCarran Airport in Las Vegas and another location in Hopkins International Airport in Cleveland, Ohio.

St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, New York) was founded by six De La Salle Christian Brothers in 1861 to provide education to local youth. Since then, the school has grown into an independent Roman Catholic College, educating over 700 young men in grades 9-12.

St. Joseph’s offers a prestige academic program to its students, one they can definitely take pride in. Academics, however, is not their only strong suit. St. Joseph’s offers an award winning athletic program, with 18 different sports and 41 student teams.
